Very recommendable as the price is around 25% cheaper than the standard fare for locals. Please notice that this is not only for "non-Taiwanese passport holders" but you must also be a tourist who have enter the country within the last 90 days. They will need to see you passport and entry stamp. Which means that if you are holding an ARC (Resident Certificate) then you cannot use. I do have ARC but fortunately is very recent so i still had a valid stamp on my passport so show them :-)

Very easy and simple to use! You will need to show your voucher to the ticketing counter to redeem it. You can get a ticket that is (1) good for any train for the day - no seat reserved, or (2) reserve a seat for a specific train time. After this, you take your special ticket to show train staff at the entry and exit. All the staff were familiar with the ticket and will stamp it to mark its usage, so I had no problems. Make sure you save enough time to get your ticket if you want to make a specific time! Would use this method again and recommend it to anyone who has never ridden on the THSR.

best way to book HSR tickets. You can choose yo have fix seating or free seating area. If you choose free seating area you might not get a seat as others might have taken the seat. Fixed seating might not get you and your friend to seat together during the journey because different people bought at different timing and depending on the occupancy of the train.

Love booking on Klook! The entire process is super easy and self-explanatory. No tutorial required. Once you get the voucher, go to the station cashier to assign seats or just get an un-reserve seats, what they called free seating here. Super convenient. Trains come almost constantly and always clean and on time. Fabulous way to commute between cities and see Taiwan.

The booking was easy, but it took a bit time at the counter to get a ticket. But it was a good price to travel with HSR! It took me 25 mins from Taichung to Hsinchu!!! Save a lot of time! Definitely will use it again! ????????????????????????

The Klook app is very useful. These tickets were purchased the day before the trip snd truly it would have been much more expensive to buy them at the train station. I have bought several Klook products and they have all been great and both time and money saving. I recommend the service and the products to all.
