    What We Love About Edinburgh

The magnificent city of Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in all of Scotland and the United Kingdom. It has an uncanny charm that exudes from the confluence of its quaint architecture ranging from medieval to neo-classical styles. The marbled streets of its Old Town look like they are straight out of a gothic storybook; you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back into the medieval period. This section of the city is home to its important royal sites, like the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh Castle, the latter being the home of Scotland’s Crown Jewels and the legendary Stone of Destiny. It also has an air of mystery permeating around it and it’s a wonderful place to explore at night while it’s lit up by sconced gas lamps. On the other hand, its New Town is a stark example of careful urban planning. Here, you’ll be able to see exquisite Georgian townhouses and Neo-classical buildings, museums and galleries, bustling markets and shopping centers like Princes and George Streets, and the Calton Hill where you can see several monuments and enjoy panoramic views of the city.

This day tour of the Scottish Highlands from Edinburgh is an absolute must if you're visiting Scotland. The trip itself to attend and checking in is very straight forward and hassle. The tour guided by Henry which I must say done a wonderful job in explaining and entertaining us all the way to Lochness and back! A great value for money!

A very convenient and cheapest transportation connecting you from the Edinburgh airport to the city center-Waverley Bridge station. You need to exchange your voucher with ticket at the counter. Then simply show the ticket to the bus driver and there you go, sit in the cozy double decker bus with luggages compartment-inside the bus. The bus is available frequently, so you don’t have to worry if you miss the bus, there will always be the other bus to come. You may opt to use the Airlink 100 as the travel time only take approximately 30mins from the airport to center. Seat back and relax, enjoy the journey!

Super cool place to visit! We enjoyed the 360° panoramic view of Edinburgh from the Camera Obscura as well as the rooftop terrace. The highlights of our visit were the vortex tunnel, mirror maze and shrinking room. It was easy to redeem the ticket-just simply exchange the voucher over counter. It took us approximately 2hours to complete the visit. The gift shop also offered lots of cool item. Highly recommended to visit here, worth every penny!

Very nice day ! Breathtaking landscapes! Stevie our very friendly guide (I loved his discography). Too bad we didn't stop more often to take pictures and enjoy the scenery (Glencoe) ... The guide exclusively in English a bit of a shame when you don't understand everything ... good meal but a little light. I recommend, day beyond our expectations!

It’s a great way to see all of Edinburgh with 3 different bus tours available for 2 days. Our family loved this tour. The Edinburgh tour bus was the best with a great live commentary about historical Edinburgh. He was funny and the kids even learned some facts about Edinburgh. Definitely recommend for first timers!!
