Review for: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat Chaiwatthanarm, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol with Night Market Tour from Siam Paragon

Our group of 4 pax took the late departure 11am from Siam Paragon, the meet up place was easy to find. We had a good tour overall, Tour Guide (Ling Ling & Alex) was patience, helpful & friendly. Tour bus was spacious and clean (no wifi). Our drop off place was at Icon Siam, a really nice mall to explore.

Review for: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat Lokayasutharam, and Floating Market with Sunset Boat Ride Tour from Century Mall

Great tour for the price. Onn and Asan were both friendly and gave great history lessons. I was impressed by the amount of quality locations they packed into the day and was happy with the quality of historical significance. However the sunset river cruise fell a bit short of expectations due to the loud boat motor that ruled out any hope for communication and the dirty river conditions. We did get some great sunset temple pics as consolation prize. Overall great tour for low price!

Review for: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat Lokayasutharam, and Floating Market with Sunset Boat Ride Tour from Century Mall

This tour was worth your money!! We started around 9am and reached back Century Mall around 7pm (no traffic since it's holiday yey!) The tour was jampacked and we went to a lot of places in Ayutthaya: Bang pa-in, floating market, 3 ancient temples, and boat ride. Our tour guides Em and Niki are also very professional, thank you!! ??

Review for: Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat Chaiwatthanarm, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol with Night Market Tour from Siam Paragon

Excellent tour of Ayutthaya. Our tour guide Mr.Uno provided useful background for each attraction during the bus ride to each location. I found this a good use of the travel time. He was also successful in persuading each tour member to be punctual after initial hiccup with one group. Traffic from Bangkok was heavy and some time was wasted in reaching the Summer palace. Some of the folks in our tour group were missing appropriate clothing as needed for the summer palace. This caused further delay. There are golf carts that can be hired for THB 400 at the summer palace. This will save some walking but not much time as you will need to park them at each location. Klook can send preparatory mailer stating the following: 1. Dress code needed 2. Driving license or passport in original for hiring golf carts The locations covered in this tour are surreal. You will find that there is not enough time for all the photos that you would like to take. Lunch stop was at Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. You get an opportunity to offer prayers here as this is an active temple. Vegetarian food options are limited. However, with some explanation, we were able to get good Veg Pad Thai at a very low price. There is possibility for ladies to dress up in traditional Thai costume at Wat Chaiwattanaram (Not covered in tour). There is a lot to see here and you might not find enough time. Do take some time to walk the periphery along the river. Try the excellent Thai iced coffee at the coffee shop across the road - better than Starbucks / Haagen Daz. Trip to Wat Maha That passes via many other Wats that we dont stop at. You will typically reach here around sunset and this provides an excellent photo opportunity. Carry spare batteries ! There will be a small queue to take a photo with the buddha head in the roots of the tree. I found that we get better photos if you walk further away and from across a wall. Tour guide specifically reminded us to be seated in front of Buddha and other etiquettes. You will get some time here to shop for Thai fruits and sea food at the night market before we head home. Dont miss to try the tender coconut water - was exceptionally sweet. Tour drops you off at Icon Siam mall. This is massive. Mr. Uno provided us with a few coupons for shopping there. You will end up spending a lot of time here. Mall has simulated a riverside food court inside. There is also fountain show with music and alser effects in the evening. Word of caution : Almost impossible to get Grab taxi from here. You will have to pay high taxi fare for the ride back or wait in a long queue for the free shuttle to BTS station at Gate 4 of the mall, Tour was well worth the money and time spent. Gives a totally different perspective of Bangkok for the typical tourist.

This tour is a great value for money because it covers a LOT of temples and places that are worth visiting to. You could also rent a costume for the overall experience. The Siam Paragon mall is also si class and posh worth touring to.

Our tour guides On and Asan were very knowledgeable! Learned a lot about Thailand’s history, Buddhism as practiced in Thailand and many other trivia, even food recommendations and shopping tips! They were also accommodating and considerate especially to my 85 year old mother who was with us. Highly recommend that you join this tour.
