    What To Expect

Come along for a blissful day tour to Loch Lomond and the stunning Scottish Highlands. Go to Loch Ness and see the vast body of water where the mythical Loch Ness monster was believably first sighted. View the ruins of Urquhart Castle, which played an important role in the Wars of Scottish Independence. Visit Rannoch Moor, a boggy moorland and designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is the only place where you can find the fascinating Scheuchzeria, a rare plant with greenish-yellow flowers. Sightsee at Glencoe, a vast and awe-inspiring valley that is quite popular among mountaineers. From here, you can take a leisurely cruise across Loch Ness. After a delicious lunch at the charming town of Fort William, end the tour on a high note and head to the nearby Caledonian Canal to enjoy views of this early nineteenth-century beauty.

Timberbush was quite good. Charlie was helpful and the tour even ended 15 minutes earlier. Amazing how the tour guide Charlie can remember everything + drive and talk about everything at the same time. Entertaining guy, fantastic choices of music. I dont think a 1 day tour would be enough for Scotland really. Must do both castle and cruise. It's an extra 19 pounds but I feel it's quite worth it.

I took this day tour on 7th June. It was hands down the highlight of my trip to Scotland. The weather was nice and sunny until almost the end of the trip. Our driver/guide Charlie was simply superb. He was patient, courteous and did a marvelous job keeping the journey on time. His commentaries were full of interesting historical facts and he kept us entertained with nice Scottish music along the journey. The sceneries were simply breathtaking. I enjoyed this trip immensely and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow or Scotland.

I booked Timberbush Tours. klook and timberbush tours handled it well. I contacted them because I could not find the coach and when I did, I thought my name was not on the list. eventually, it was settled. Kenny was our driver and tour guide. he was very entertaining! he was dressed in kilt and his way of tour-guiding was fun and very informative. he got background music and history telling played during the whole trip. most of the time, we were in the bus listening to him while sightseeing the beautiful Scotland. time just passed by and not even a second was boring. he was very good, highly recommended! when I come back, I will book with Timberbush Tours again for their 3D2N trips. 1 day for these places is not enough! but thank you!

It was a great trip that involves natural scenary, castle and cruise. The optional castle and cruise cost GPB 19 is essential. if not, you just gonna stay on the coach bus and wait for the rest of the tour group. My most enjoyable part is the castle where we get to spend 1hr there. cruise is also 1 hr and try to be on the upper deck to feel the breeze and mountains. Guide Andy was great too. lunch is on your own and we stop at a place where we could get sandwiches, soup etc. it is also a souvenir stop too. Go for this tour to get a feel of the scottish highlands.

The scenery along the journey and loch ness itself is amazing! The guide Andy does his best to make the entire journey so informative and enjoyable. If you are not joining the optional castle and cruise tour for GBP19, you will be sitting in the coach with nowhere else to go but wait. Since this tour starts from Glasgow, do expect to sit in the bus for more than 70% of the time.

Tour is ok. There’s really not enough time given to you to explore the areas. For the Glencoe, we didn’t even stop. We just pass by the area
