Review for: Rosslyn Chapel, Scottish Borders, and Glenkinchie Distillery Day Tour from Edinburgh Day Tour (High Season)

I really liked this tour because I really wanted to see Rosslyn Chapel. It is a small, cozy group of people in a small van and we were able to see beautiful scenery in the Scottish bordere. Ended the day in a distillery with a very educational tour. Thank you Klook!!!!

    What to expect

Head out on a day tour from Edinburgh to discover wonderful locations in the heart of the Scottish borders. The first stop is Rosslyn Chapel, an intriguing structure built in 1446. See the ancient carvings on the walls and hear stories involving the legendary Knights Templar. This was also featured in the best-selling thriller “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown. Then, head to the Scottish Borders and the town of Melrose. Aside from being a picturesque area that’s filled with valleys, rivers, and hills, sports fans will also be delighted to know that this is the birthplace of Scottish rugby. Visit the Melrose Abbey as well, which is known for its elegant architecture and for housing what is believed to be the heart of the legendary king and warrior Robert the Bruce. The tour ends with a photo stop at Scott’s view and a tour around Glenkinchie Distillery. See how one of Scotland’s few Lowland distilleries create their excellent products. Sit back and quench your thirst with some of their finest malts.
