Thanks to its remote location in the southernmost part of Krabi, the island offers more opportunities to immerse in the local scene and explore the unspoiled nature compared to its neighboring beaches. Cool beach bars await, where backpackers can watch the golden sunset and enjoy small parties, as well as amazing Thai restaurants that offer an authentic dining experience. You can also try scuba diving and get to bask in the magnificent coral reefs and abundant aquatic life of Ko Lanta.

    Tiger Cave Temple

Standing tall at 278 meters above the grounds of the Mueang Krabi District, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) is one of the many historical sites in Thailand. To see the famous ‘Buddha’s footprint’ on top, one must take a 1,237-step climb with cheeky monkeys tagging along during the hike. Reaching the summit would also mean getting panoramic 360-degree views of the Andaman Sea, limestone cliffs, dense jungle forests, and marvelous natural sights surrounding the island. Make sure to spend some time touring the limestone caves and other natural attractions at the foot of the temple complex before heading to the top for a complete experience!

The sunset view over the limestone formations is also a lovely sight to admire after a day of walking and relaxation.

    Emerald Pool

Emerald Pool (Sra Morakot) is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Krabi, thanks to its exotic beauty hidden inside the dense tropical rainforest at Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Booked a private tour for 8 pax as we had 2 seniors and 2 young kids (3 and 4yo) Prior to the trip, I contacted the assigned tour operator to for the itinerary as we had no idea what is to be expected and if we are required to prepare food. They communication was a breeze, they are able to book lunch box at a fee or request for a buffet but as I only checked the night before, the order was closed. Nevertheless, there are several long tail boats at one of the island selling food and drinks such as burgers, fish fingers, sandwiches, fried rice and etc. As it was a private tour, we are able to stay at the island which we like for as long as we want. No rush at all. There are life jacket available for kids however we brought our own as previous reviews mentioned of none available for kids. The snorkeling equipments look pretty new. The boat ride were very steady and stable, no seasick unlike a speedboat ride which we took before. Overall, great experience! Only downside was that our transfer from hotel arrived late. Email asked to be ready at lobby for pickup at 0845hrs. I had to contact the operator and after they checked, they said the transfer will arrive in 10 mins, which is the distance to the pier. It only arrived at 0920hts. My bet is that they forgotten about it. 5 star for the tour. 2 star for the transfer.

The location wasn't in Krabi but was actually an hour ride away. Travelling took up most of the duration and the activity of River Rafting was actually pretty short (~10 mins?) They gave a briefing in the van that fetched us from our hotel when we were reaching the location. The van was really comfortable even if you're sharing with others. Managed to get a good nap in the long journey. The experience was definitely worth it only for the river raft but we didn't get the flying fox and we didn't enter the monkey cave especially with the limited time for that. Didn't really enjoyed watching the "monkey show" as you can see how pitiful their treatment were. Only plus point is the river raft for this.

An exceptional tour with immaculate planning. from the very start at the hotel pickup till the end of tour the execution was flawless. couldn't have been better. snorkelling experience was amazing. the staff at the boat was too good with superb service of snacks and juices. lunch was average but can be ignored as the trip was too nice. all the locations were serene. the guide gave opportunity for snorkelling twice. would recommend this tour for anyone visiting thailand.

We booked this activity on Klook as we had a free day in Krabi. It was surprisingly good as it broke the monotony of island hopping and beach visits. Hot springs and emerald pool were good but a bit crowded. The optional visit to the top of the tiger cave temple was challenging (1260 steps). The guide and driver were very friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a good experience.

You will need to walk through the bars and up two escalators to reach the place. It is rather small as compared to other cabaret shows in Thailand. The show was entertaining, worth trying it out if never seen any cabaret show before. The redemption is easy, just shows the e-voucher and you will be given the physical ticket for the show.
