20 Oct 2017
Your Universal Studios Singapore visit begins here!
Whether you're a theme park fanatic or not, you'll definitely fall in love with Singapore's favourite theme park - Universal Studios Singapore!
Be transported into the future at Sci-Fi City and scream your heart out on the Battlestar Galactica, team up with the Autobots in a 4D simulator and step into the fairytale wonderland of Far Far Away and help Shrek save the day!
Whatever land you find yourself in, USS will be an unforgettable day of thrilling adventures and movie magic. Here's what you need to maximize a day out at the park!
Before your trip
Klook your USS tickets and enjoy exclusive discounts and offers! Klook tickets are also open-dated, meaning you'll be able to visit on any date up till the expiry date stated.
The best part? You'll get to skip the queues with mobile e-vouchers sent straight to your Klook account.
The best time to visit USS would definitely have to be on the off-peak days, which are usually the weekdays. Although we can’t guarantee that the crowds are lesser on these days, the chances of shorter queues for the rides are definitely higher. Also, off-peak days mean you have higher chances to take pictures with your favourite characters!
You can also see the USS calendar available on their website. There, it’ll state the off-peak and non-peak days, as well as the timings and blackout dates. Blackout dates are dates where huge crowds are expected.

Inspired by the DreamWorks movie of the same name, this zone is located right next to Hollywood and features lush tropical jungles just like those from the movie.
There are two rides in this area - Madagascar: A Crate Adventure and King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round. The rides here are mostly catered to the kids but if you’re looking for something to calm you down after the screaming your lungs out on the roller coasters, then this is the place to be!
Special appearances include the characters from the movie itself – Alex, Gloria, King Julien, and who could forget about the adorable penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico!
You'll recognize Far Far Away immediately when you see Fiona's castle! Standing at 40 metres, this castle is undeniably the highlight of the zone and even the entire park!
Besides the castle, a walk in Far Far Away is enough to have you remembering scenes from the movie because of its almost similar design. Don’t miss out on special appearances by characters like Shrek, Donkey, Puss In Boots, Princess Fiona, Pinocchio, and Prince Charming as well!
In terms of attractions, you and your family will love the Shrek 4-D Adventure, and three other family-friendly rides – Enchanted Airways, Puss In Boots‘ Giant Journey and Magic Potion Spin!
Home to the iconic Mummy Ride, Ancient Egypt is modelled after Egypt in the 1930s, so that’ll explain the enormous Pharaohs’ tomb and guardian statues.
If you have absolutely no fear of the dark and are into high-speed roller coasters, then take a ride on the Mummy Ride that is inspired by the hit franchise – The Mummy! But if you’re looking for something less dramatic, then head to the Treasure Hunters, which is a calm, mini car ride with Jeep replicas!

Also, don’t miss out on Lights, Camera, Action!, where Steven Spielberg himself will greet you on a stage that slowly becomes the setting of a major hurricane!
