Apart from skyscrapers, Singapore is home to not 1 but 3 award winning Zoological parks. The Singapore Zoological Gardens, River Safari and Night Safari are some of Singapore’s top attractions where you can get up close and personal with the animals in their natural habitats!

Home to 300 over species of mammals, reptiles and birds, there is so much to see! This world famous zoo will have you up close and personal with the animals as you’ll only be separated by moats and wooden fences.
Have you ever had breakfast with an Orang Utan?
Well, why not kickstart your day at the zoo in the company of the friendly Orang-Utans, the mascots of the Singapore zoo! With a buffet spread of both local and western delights, fill your tummies alongside these friendly primates. Be sure to have your cameras ready when they waltz in hand in hand with their keepers!

Keep your eyes peeled as you walk through this biodome as the animals are hiding in all nooks and crannies. From Saki Monkeys swinging from branch to branch to little ducks crossing the paths in front of you and even sloths slowly making their way across the branches, it’s truly an unforgettable experience.
In fact, the fragile forest might just be our favourite part of the zoo!

Be sure to hold onto your hats because the cheeky elephants just might steal them while you’re not looking! Catch these gentle giants in action at our favourite Elephants at Work and Play show.
P.S Don’t be in a rush to leave after the show because you can get a photo op with these superstars as well as a chance to feed them!
In addition, check out the other animal shows and marvel at these wondrous creatures as they interact with their trainers.
Rainforest Kidzworld is a place for little ones to splash around in the water playground, spend time with farmyard animals or even ride on a little pony! Don’t forget to pack a spare set of clothes!

Don’t want to get wet? Grab a branch of leaves and watch the hungry goats gobble up it up in the blink of an eye! Look out for the keepers walking goats and watch them perform a few tricks for treats.
Klook Fun Fact: Giraffes have black tongues to prevent them from getting sunburnt! That’s how often they stick their tongues out.
Take a walk along the Wild Africa zone and catch a glimpse of the king of the jungle and childhood favorites Timon and Pumba in real life!
P.S. Come during feeding time and for just SGD 5 you’ll get to feed selected animals. Check out their feedings times and be sure to catch your favorites gobbling up their snacks!

If you’re game for a slithering good time, make your way to Reptopia, the newest zone in park for a scaly good time!Learn about the different frogs, lizards and of course snakes through interactive boards and even games.
Look out for the friendly zookeepers with reptiles in hand and approach for a great photo op. Don’t worry, they won’t bite.
One of the best ways to explore the park is through the guided tram! Learn more about the animals through the audio commentary and hop off to check out the animals up close. Just hop back on whenever you’re ready to head to the next attraction!
Getting tickets for the Tram

No visit to River Safari will be complete without visiting Singapore’s resident giant pandas, Jia Jia and Kai Kai! Ever wondered what animals do after dark? Visit the world’s FIRST nocturnal wildlife park the Night Safari to find out!At the Night Safari, there are strategic soft lights put in place to ensure that you’ll be able to spot the animals! And yes, the animals are different from the ones you see in the Singapore Zoo!

Catch the owls and their nocturnal counterparts as they show off their talents in the Creatures of the Night show. More importantly, learn about considerate recycling from the adorable otters!
If you’re lucky, you just may be the lucky assistant volunteer they need! But, be warned, those snakes are HEAVY! So get your biceps ready and you just may get selected.

The guided tram is the ONLY way you’ll get to see ALL the animals in the night safari. Learn interesting facts about these nocturnal creatures as you wander into the depths of the dark forest. Engage all your senses as you listen out for the calls of the wild! You’ll also think twice about your environmental footprints as you learn about the conservation efforts of Wildlife Reserves Singapore.
