This cooking class is a great way to know balinese cuisine in depth. Wayan was not only our teacher, he was also our driver! We had a lot of fun and returned to our hotel very full. The dishes we cooked were so good. You can even bring home some if you want. I wish though that they give out a recipe book, not just a photocopy on a bond paper.

Had such a great day! Picked up on time and headed to the kitchen. We were instructed in what we were making and all the ingredients involved. We then set to make our dishes. We were able to try them as we cooked and then at the end of the day we got to eat our food, we were certainly well fed! Everyone involved were so nice and helpful and we are so happy we chose to do this activity, you won’t be disappointed so get booking!!

THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY BALI TOUR! I never thought my heart.. and my stomach would be this happy after my Bali trip! I traveled alone, and made my itinerary as relaxing as possible. I enjoyed my 1 week vacation at the "island of gods" and this cooking class was the main event! The family who accommodated us for this fun activity warmly welcomed us in their house/kitchen. It was nice experiencing all these first-hand! We went to a rice field and a local market, and our tour guide who was also our cooking teacher, shared to us a lot of information about the Balinese culture, traditions, and cuisine. He introduced to us important ingredients/spices that are present in almost every Indonesian dish. I've got to see, smell, and taste them. His way of teaching us made me feel that cooking these dishes is simple and easy, and can be done at home. After cooking, we ate together like a family.. the father of the house was sweet, he even packed us the food left, so we have "take-aways". Hahaha! It was a fun, informative, and amazing experience! Terima kasih!

They are home based family business, my family and I enjoyed the sessions. They will have one main teachers did the demo and let you try to cook by yourself with one person stand behind you and guide you. They are very friendly and helpful, we requested them to drop off us to ubud palace after the session. I'm satisfied with the overall experience and their services. Felt great to learn the cooking skills from them.

Return transfers from Ubud by Gusde - good luck for your training! Local experience at the rice paddies and traditional market. Wayan was so hospitable, buying us local fruit and food to try at the market. Wayan's family was very friendly and accommodating. For dessert, we make Klepon - palm sugar in rice flour dough. Wayan's cousin remembered that my MIL and I shaped the dough into squares and that another guest Yuri shaped it into a heart and Wayan's cousin served our shaped klepon after she cooked them. What a lovely, personal touch. Suksma!

We took the morning session. Waking up early for the market visit is really worth it. We were able to witness how the local market is like and learn more about the balinese culture. The rice paddy visit is really welcomed as well. Dishes made are easy to follow, very delicious and more than enough for everyone.

It was a very good experience. The trip to the market was informative. And the class itself was really fun. We had a 4 yr old child with us and they were very patient with her. Would highly recommend.

We arrived early as we arranged our own transport there. As we had to wait for the other group to commence the class, the host showed us around the house and introduced some local fruits they grew. When the other group came, we went to the local market. Personally thought the trip to the local market was unnecessary as we did not actually get anything from the market for the class. Class itself was nice, the host gave clear instructions and guided us as the lesson went. At the end of the lesson, we had the food we cooked for lunch.

Wayan took us to the market and showed us some of the ingredients used in Balinese cooking. A very rich experience. We also got to try some local pancakes and fruits. The class was also very fun. You get to do the fun stuff and the repetitive and hard work such as pounding to finish was done by their experienced team.
