San Francisco Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off Tours (Open-Top)

A very informative tour. The commentaries are either audio recorded or spoken live by the driver/staff on board the bus. Special mention to JFK the driver/staff on the Sausalito bus - professional and funny. A highly recommended tour.

Big Bus hop on hop off is a good option for tourists who want to see all of San Francisco in a convenient, and informative way. The bus take you around to popular tourist spots around San Francisco, as well as offering a guided tour of the city. Our experience with Big Bus tours was good, however we experienced some setbacks with the company. For example, some of the drivers were not the most patient with the tourists, passive aggressive telling one guy that he had already explained something and making it seem like it was a nuisance to tell him again. Also, the busses are not clearly marked for the three different lines that the company offers. Overall our experience was good with Big Bus tours, especially since they offered a free shuttle back to Union Square at the end of the day when the busses stopped for the night tours.

Very good experience using the pass to tour around. Very easy to catch a bus to visit main attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf, Palace if Fine Art, etc.

The first tour guide Bianca was amazing. She was entertaining, funny and engaging. She did a really good job on this bus. SAN Francisco was a nice city to explore

Very convenient way to tour SanFo. Very informative and hassle free! Truly enjoyable to roam around the place through their big bus.

Very good tour around the city and very complete Audio guide available in different languages. We really enjoy it even if the weather was cold. Must do it in San Francisco, and specially for a first time downtown !

A great way to see SF! Hop on the bus, hop off when you want to spend more time in the stop, hop on again on the next bus when you’re ready. Great value for money!

The whole tour took about 2h30mins, the first ride usually doesn't have Live guide, however so many audio guide languages is actually sufficient. The Live guide speakers are very funny and they each have their own perks. I went around first to all the places with the bus and then stopping at Academy of sciences, continuing then to Pier 39, and then going home by tram. For golden gate, I suggest going on after lunch, in the morning it's causing backlights, so you cant really took any good pictures.
